1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (via Google OAuth or email OTP).

Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details — Stripe handles this securely.

Usage data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including competitors you track, pages you view, and features you use. This helps us improve the product.

Competitor data: We crawl publicly available web pages that you configure for monitoring. This includes page HTML content and screenshots of public pages.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Send you alerts, notifications, and weekly digests about competitor changes
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets)
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the product

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in secure databases. Screenshots are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication, and access controls.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service providers: Third-party services that help us operate (Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for infrastructure, Resend for email delivery)
  • AI providers: We use Anthropic's Claude API to generate analysis and insights. Page content is sent to Anthropic for processing. Anthropic does not use this data to train their models.
  • Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Competitor snapshots and analysis are retained to provide historical comparison features. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent for optional data processing
  • Opt out of marketing communications

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any international transfers of personal data.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
